Top 3 Most Expensive Cards!

Here is the Top 3 most expensive Pokemon Cards to ever be purchased by an individual. I will also provide some information either about the card and why it is so expensive and/or information about the buyer/seller. If you would like to know more information about other expensive cards there is a lot of information out there about them. The top 3 most expensive cards to ever be bought are the PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator card being purchased at an estimated value of $5,275,000, The 1st Edition PSA 10 shadowless Charizard for $420,000, and the Blastoise Wizards of the Coast Presentation Galacy star Holo. All the information for these cards are below!

1. PSA 10 Illustrator Pikachu

Logan Paul Holding the Pikachu Illustrator

This is Logan Paul Holding the elusive PSA 10 Pikachu Illistator card. He traded a PSA 9 Pikachu illustrator card and a whopping $4 million on top of that to complete the trade at a estimated value of $5,275,000. This exceeeds the second most expensive card purchased by $4,855,000 which is insane. This is the only known PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator card in the world as only 39 copies were printed back in 1998. There probably will never be a card that is purchased for a price more than that ever.

2. 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard

PSA 10 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard

This is the second most expensive Pokemon card to ever be bought at a surprising $420,000. The reason this card has gotten such a high number to be purchased at is because of its missing shadow on the right side of the cards character box. There are only 52 copies to ever recieve a Gem Mint 10 in the world even though there are hundreds of copies of this card out there making it a hard to come by card. This would be a pretty expensive but rewarding investment because of the fact that this card is so rare and is likely to only go up in value in the future. I would love to own one of these personally but I dont think I would ever have the that type of money to spend on a Pokemon Card.

3. Blastoise Wizards of the Coast Presentation Galaxy Star Holo

CGC 8.5 Blastoise Wizard of The Coast Galaxy Star Holo

This is the one and only CGC 8.5 Blastoise Wizard of The Coast Galaxy Star Holo. This is an incredibly rare and interesting card. It is thought to be a presentation card to show off what the new holo's would have been back around the 1998 period of Pokemon cards. This card has only 2 known copies in the world right now and this one so happened to grade at a CGC 8.5 which is decent. This card is special because of its all white back that it has instead of the normal Pokemon Ball logo that is normally on the cards. The reason that this card doesnt fetch a card as much as other cards is because of the super small and niche market that comes with this card since it is so unheard of and hard to come by. The chances of another one of these coming onto the market is next to none so if you ever get your hands on this card you are sitting on a fortune.
